The seas are still mysterious to us humans. Not everything that is in the oceans and on the seabed has been fully explored. However, the sea creatures are well known for their algae and their special abilities as superfood and also for the Berlin fashion label GREY as part of a T-shirt collection.
Cool, cuddly, high-quality - even mermaids would feel comfortable in these T-shirts. The timeless ladies' T-shirts and long sleeves are made of Icelandic algae. In classic, mottled grey, they correspond exactly to GREY's idea of natural simplicity and are also the reason for the choice of the company name. The stylish basics for every day are not only extremely soft, but even care for the skin when worn. This is ensured by the vitamins and minerals of the algae used in the production as well as fibres with zinc content. The naturally renewable marine raw material is harvested in a sustainable way in the fjords of Iceland, design and production are completely in Germany. The production process is particularly environmentally friendly and ensures that the caring effect of the clothing is maintained even after many washes.
Sea as only grey The Berlin fashion label starts with a selected range of timeless basics for women. The collection currently includes T-shirts and long sleeves, each of which is available with a close-fitting cut and without seams - as first-layer shirts. The styles of the 100% German-made shirts are inspired by Asian Zen design and have great potential to become an absolute favourite in the wardrobe. Dress and feel good - whether in Iceland, on a summer holiday or in your own four walls. "A day at the sea" to dress GREY is convinced: The sea has a very special effect on body, mind and soul. The idea of capturing this effect in a fabric is the basic idea of the fashion label. Each algae shirt contains the power of a thousand litres of seawater and its particularly soft fabric allows the skin and mood to relax - just like a day at the sea. Multi-talented knotweed The knotweed, which thrives in the nutrient-rich fjords of Iceland, has long been known for its high content of vitamins, minerals and trace elements and is used, for example, in organic food and high-quality cosmetic products. Only every four years the naturally renewable marine raw material is harvested and processed into VitadylanTM using a special process - a new type of fabric from which all pieces in the GREY collection are made. Instead of cotton, the basic material used is beech wood, which enables extremely water- and CO2-saving processing. This material was awarded the European Environment Prize for its sustainability. VitadylanTM also contains the trace element zinc, which is important for skin health and immune defence. Like the algae, it is hardly washed out even after 100 rounds in the washing machine. The GREY collection is available on the website of the Berlin fashion label (www.greyfashion.com). Here you can also find more information about the production and mode of action of VitadylanTM as well as the philosophy and origins of the company.
