An article of clothing that cares for your skin naturally, without the use of body lotion? After six years of research, Marco Grey and other researchers have succeeded in developing a substance that cares for the skin in a natural way. Vitadylan! From the fabric Vitadylan, Grey Fashion created the first garments that care for the skin in a natural way. Like for example the Grey Shirt, which I would like to introduce to you in more detail here.
Who does not love the wonderful velvety feeling on the skin after a day at the sea. You can now experience this feeling every day with the Grey Shirt. The substance Vitadylan consists among other things of algae and zinc fibres. It releases vitamins and minerals from marine algae into the skin and thus cares for it naturally and without chemicals. At Grey Fashion exactly this material is processed, thus the worldwide unique, caring garments are produced. This shirt can also be used for various skin problems, such as neurodermatitis or psoriasis, and can calm the skin.
I was given the task of putting one of the Grey shirts through its paces. To wear it for one day in all situations and to prove your combination skills. Whether for sleeping, at work, in everyday life, for sports or when meeting with friends, the Grey Shirt can be worn at any time and can be combined to fit. As I have been suffering from sensitive skin and various skin problems all my life, this cooperation was more than welcome.
The first thing I noticed was this incredibly soft material. It is much softer than cotton and therefore super comfortable to wear. So pleasant that at the end of the day you don't even want to take it off. What I still find very positive and what I had the most doubts about at the beginning was the care of the shirt. I was worried that I would have to hand-wash this garment. Such a thing is often a KO criterion for me when choosing my clothes. However, the Grey Shirt can be washed without hesitation in the gentle wash cycle of the washing machine and has thus gained a further plus point.
What I also noticed positively was the smell of the shirt. Many clothes have a very chemical odour before the first wash and some of them do not even lose this odour after several washes. My Grey Shirt already had a very pleasant smell after unpacking. It smells very natural and somehow actually smells like sea. It's nice that another label has committed itself to sustainability and has implemented this environmentally friendly concept.
"If I could only have one shirt, it would be a Grey."
I have tested my Grey Shirt both for sleeping and for sports activities. The pleasant skin feeling, which I felt right after the first dressing, was always there. You can see that the material is breathable, so at no time was there an unpleasant feeling on the skin. The skin can breathe and is still noticeably cared for, without that sticky skin feeling that you usually feel after applying the cream.
Also the combination possibilities of the shirt are super versatile. Due to the neutral colour it can be combined with many other colours and you can create the most different styles with it. During the day you can wear it super casually with jeans, while in the evening you can combine it a little more elegantly with a skirt. Flexible like every Basic Shirt but something very special due to the caring components.
Have you heard of grey fashion? Would you be interested in a shirt like that?
