Vitadylan™ contains a fibre from Icelandic algae. Rich in valuable ingredients, these algae contain more minerals, vitamins and trace elements than any other natural product. With their high antioxidant content, they also protect the skin from cell-damaging free radicals. The skin absorbs the valuable ingredients and spreads their effect in a noticeable feeling of well-being.
The algae we use come exclusively from the ecosystem of the Icelandic fjords and are harvested gently and sustainably at the same place only every two years. Only the part above the regenerative region of the alga is removed, so that it can sprout again and again. This limits the availability of this natural product. The algae are completely untreated and their biological value is preserved.
We want to produce only sustainable clothing that is kind to the skin and the environment. That is why we do not use cotton, but Modal. This fibre made from beech wood is produced in a particularly sustainable way and is much softer than cotton. That's why you don't want to take off your GREY anymore.
GREY means natural skincare without moisturizing. We have found a way to capture the protective and nurturing properties of the sea in a fabric: In the world's first naturally caring fabric, Vitadylan™. Its composition is absolutely unique: it consists of four fibres, including fibres of algae and zinc. The natural skin moisture releases the vital substances of the algae and zinc and an active exchange between the fibre and the skin takes place: the skin is naturally cared for and protected.
Vitadylan™ contains a fibre made of medical zinc oxide in addition to the algae fibre. Zinc is the most influential trace element for our well-being. It is essential for the immune system, sensory functions and metabolism. It regenerates the skin and protects it from harmful UVA and UVB radiation, which can damage our skin cells. Especially for people with sensitive skin or skin diseases, the anti-inflammatory effect also shows a positive effect. Zinc oxide also has antibacterial and odour-reducing properties that give textiles a longer feeling of freshness.
Vitadylan™ is produced using the environmentally friendly Lyocell process, among other things. This was even awarded the European Environmental Prize in the category "Sustainable Technologies". The production methods of our raw material supplier meet the highest standards of sustainability and quality. Through a secret and patented process, the algae and zinc are integrated directly into the cellulose fibre, so that their effect is retained even after numerous washing processes. GREY lasts longer than nervous fashion trends.
